Trade Show Secret as An Amazon Seller

When you go to these trade shows, you walk around and you see things that you didn’t know existed until you bump into them. And because when you shop on Amazon, it’s a very visual experience as well.

You only sort of seeing on the page on Amazon, something that jumps out, there are 10 or 20 images, but one will jump out at you. And it just looks sharper or it’s more colorful. Or there’s something more interesting going on in the image. And that’s kind of how I like to use trade shows.

If you’re walking around a really big trade shows hall full of product and you’re walking along, and something catches your eye. There’s a pretty good chance that kind of product will catch somebody’s eye on a website page as well on Amazon. So I really liked it as a way of finding inspiration for new product ideas that you didn’t know there are often things that are available for sale there.

And the buyers in Europe have sort of set these trends that haven’t hit the high street yet.
So you’re kind of 6 to 12 months ahead of the consumer by going to a trade show.
